Over the past 14 years I have been commissioned to make a large number of handmade willow lampshades for cafes, restaurants, shops, homes and for interior designers and lighting specialists. I am continuing to develop these ideas and am happy to discuss different designs etc. Most of my work is for very large willow lampshades with diameters of up to 1.5m though I m happy to make any size and have also made lots of smaller shades. There are more photos of some of my latest commissions in the woven lampshade gallery page...or check out my Instagram page @linlovekinbaskets

Pictures above are of some of the lampshades I ve made in 2015..experimenting with dyed willow and rope as well as using the natural shades of the bark.......onion pendants for an organic café, a patchwork feature pendant using dyed willow and rope, large saucer pendants up to 1.5m in diameter and a range of woven basket lampshades in all shapes and sizes for a Nandos restaurant.
In 2014, I was commissioned to design and make lampshades for a Nandos restaurant in Horsham.
These lampshades are reminiscent of the traditional lobster pots made in Cornwall with some extra details. Since then I have made lots of lobsterpot lampshades in different willow and different sizes.
